So the kids have had the runny noses off and on the past few weeks, but Haila's had been worse the past few days so Deven (Haila's mommy for those who don't know) called the doctor and they said to give her Pedicare to help. So being the good Nannie that I am, I gave it to her with her lunch yesterday so that she could get a good nap and help with the crankiness of not feeling good. Well, you know that warning on many bottles of medicine that say "May cause excitability, especially in children" - well that was Haila after I gave it to her. After 30 minutes of listening to her talk and carry on in the nap room, I went to get her and rock her, or so I thought. She had the crazy eyes, you know the ones, hopped up on drugs and not the least bit sleepy? She kept "growling" behind her pacifier, talking, moving, etc....she was SO NOT tired. Anyway, she finally calmed down enough so that I could put her in the bed, but then she only got an hour nap, which made for a long afternoon. So I decided NOT to give her medicine and just tough out the runny nose this morning and I think she crashed...this picture was taken when Cheyenne screamed from the kitchen (as the boys and I were picking up toys) "Nannie, Haila is tired of waiting for you, she's sleeping!" Sure enough, she was passed out, fork still in hand. I cleaned her up, changed her diaper, took her shoes off, laid her down in the crib and never saw her eyes....TOO CUTE!

Chuck E Cheese Fun
I took the kids to Chuck E Cheese today since they were out of school for President's Day. Lane is out with "Miss" Bev, so Carley was my big helper today!
Haila is driving the jet ski and making the vroom sound with her lips...I was laughing so hard at her face, I had a hard time taking the shot.
Cheyenne, Carley and Haila are taking a turn on the merry go round...it was making me dizzy trying to get them to look at the camera.
Karcen and Cheyenne are at the top of the climbing thing on one end....
they look like they are in jail!!!
Peyton takes a turn on the Bob the Builder tractor...
Zach takes Karcen for a spin on the jetski, and she is holding on for dear life!

Rotten and Rottener (is that a word?)
So Jenny (aka my sister, Jennifer) made mention that I needed to give y'all something new to look at...well, I didn't have a whole lot of new pictures, but these 2 are pretty cute! As most of you know that although I DON'T have favorites in my daycare, there are some children that are more rotten than others. Currently it is Cheyenne and Haila. They like to battle for my lap, my attention and my "cuddle time". They are not the first to be rotten...oh, no, that would be Kattie Gill, and then Klay right in her footsteps. Carley hooked on not long after, but has since decided that she's pretty independent although it just breaks her heart for me to fuss at her for anything! Karcen is away at school 3 mornings a week, but she is all about me in the afternoon saying "I wantchu". (this is I want you for those who don't speak Karcen) Anyway, there are some pretty rotten children running around here and I have the pictures (and the frazzled nerves) to prove it.
Haila decided that one "sassy" was not enough, so she's got both of them....maybe it's time to go into the detox program!

Cheyenne LOVES her caterpillar and puppy but especially the caterpillar. This shot was taken during one of my favorite times of the day...NAPTIME! I just thought she looked so sweet lying there "attached" to her caterpillar.
So, that's all I have for today...but here's the link to Christy's blog if you want to see some of the girls (Lane, Carley and Karcen) http://burnettegirls.blogspot.com/ I'll be sure to take some new ones next week...I don't know where this week went!
